The performance app has workflow to update the reporting periods for each performance plan


When you configure a new performance plan, the following criteria are used to create a set of reporting periods:


  • Start date
  • Duration (in years)
  • Reporting frequency


For example, a plan starting on January 1st, lasting one year, with a monthly reporting frequency will have twelve reporting periods.  Data entered for indicators will be linked to each of these reporting periods.


The workflow enables the user managing the plan to move through each reporting period.  As the period advances the data entered by users for indicators will be applied to the current period.  Users may not enter data for a period that has closed or has not yet been opened.
