The Project Nomination and Tracking app is designed to track projects.  Projects start by being nominated by an official.  Nominated projects go through project review committees at the district, provincial and national levels.  At each level the committee decision for the project is recorded and the minutes attached.  Projects that are rejected by a committee are archived.  Projects that are accepted enter the project tracking phase.

During project tracking the project business plan and project implementation plans are loaded.  Once these are approved, the project begins a monthly monitoring cycle where progress against the project implementation plan activities and budget expenditure are recorded.  The project ends when the project completion statement is entered.  The project is then archived.

Opening the app

To open the app, click on the app name in the navigation.  You will then see a list of project profiles.  Users with the Nomination role have the option to nominate a new project.  Users with the Manager role will also see the option to add or delete a project.

Opening a project profile

To open a project profile, click on the name of the project.  You will then see three tabs called roles, workflow and data.

  1. The roles tab shows which roles have been assigned to users for this project.  Users with the Manager role may also update role assignments.
  2. The workflow tab shows boxes for the workflow to add and edit a project.  It also has workflow to record the business plan, project implementation plan, monthly progress and project completion.
  3. The data tab shows a list of forms that can be completed for each project.  The number in brackets shows how many versions of that form have been completed.  Clicking opens the form to see the data.
  4. The clients tab shows a list of clients that have been linked to the project
