Community is the word we use to describe the web-based system accessed by a specific set of users. Each community:
- Has it's own distinct name
- Has it's own logo
- Has specific set of users who are the only people able to access the community
- Has one or more community level roles
- Can adopt one or more Apps
All data entered and managed by users on a community is stored within that community.
While most users will only have access to one community, it is possible for one user account to have access to several communities. This may be useful in cases where you have different organisations or country offices that work independently but collaborate on specific activities. Communities that use the same Apps may also elect to publish data into another community.
